Courtney Hayes - Voice

Courtney Hayes holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in secondary vocal studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

As a Texas native, Courtney began her advanced studies at Lone Star College in the Woodlands, Texas, where she studied classical voice under Grammy award winner and Juilliard graduate, Kelly Markgraf. She also participated in the Texas Two-Year College Choral Directors Association in 2017 and 2018. Courtney finished her studies at Texas A&M University-Commerce where she studied classical and musical theatre vocal styles under Kay George.

Courtney’s last semester of college was spent in a classroom as a student teacher where she interned under Christina Ritter and Heather Fisher. Student teaching strengthened her foundation for teaching voice at both the elementary and secondary levels.

Courtney’s friendly and happy personality make her a perfect fit for students of all ages and skill levels.
